WilliamARMITSTEADIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Barrie) Armitstead at home at Pennersaughs Farm with is family, on Tuesday the 28th of July. Barrie a beloved husband to Catherine, a loving Dad to Rupert and Lucy, A loved Grandad to Tanya, Leona and Seth, Father-in-law to Vicky and Glen and will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
Barrie's funeral service will take place on Tuesday the 11th of August 2026 at 12:00noon at Middlebie Church thereafter to Middlebie Cemetery for the committal.
In lieu of flowers there will be a collection in memory of Barrie for the Ecclefechan Health Centre & the Heart & Stroke Association Scotland.
